Our Approach To Your Certification
Phase I: Quality Management System Assessment, Management
Understanding, Implementation Planning, and ISO Coordinator
Preparation.

1. Executive Strategy Planning:
This session is designed specifically
for the management of your organization.

Information is gathered about your organization. Time is spent touring
your facility and assessing the state of readiness.

The second half of the day is spent with the management and decision
makers of your organization, discussing the key elements of the ISO9000
standards. In this discussion and planning session, we will thoroughly
discuss the key elements of the ISO9000 series of standards, the
registration process, what it will involve, how to prepare for it, and its
impact on your organization.

During our discussion, we will:
· Assess your company's current quality management system
· Determine the scope of your registration
· Build a plan for completing all necessary activities prior to the
registration audit
· Assign responsibility for those activities
· And schedule the registration audit

2. ISO Coordinator Preparation: The ISO Coordinator preparation is a
one-day experience that prepares your key quality personnel with the
level of expertise required to successfully maintain your quality
management system and pass the registration audit.

Proper documentation is a key aspect of become ISO9000
registered, as
well as understanding the audit activities. GAB Consultancy will create
your ISO Quality Manual and required Quality Procedures.

This jump-start will assist your organization in minimizing the total
documentation created and will save the use of costly internal personnel
in documentation activities.

Phase II: Begin implementation of the quality management
system, the corrective/preventive action system, and conduct
employee preparation

Based upon decisions made during the Executive Strategy and Planning
Session, certain parts of the quality management system
can begin
becoming documented procedures, implemented and standardized.

1. Administering a Corrective/Preventive Action System: One of the
most rewarding activities from implementing ISO9000 will be the
establishment of a formal corrective and preventive action system which
serves to eliminate the root cause of problems so they will not reoccur.
Most organizations only go as far as correcting apparent problems, but
do not address the root cause(s) of the problems. Through our
experience, your key employees will learn how to implement a
Corrective/Preventive Action System that will:

· Address the problem
· Implement corrective action
· Investigate the cause of the problem
· Implement permanent irreversible preventive action
· Monitor the results of the preventive action to ensure the problem has
truly been solved

2. Consulting Day(s): Consulting days are the key to successfully
implementing an ISO9000 compliant quality management system and
passing the ISO9000 registration audit the first time. During these
consulting days, an ISO9000 Lead Assessor Certified consultant will
assess, plan, recommend, implement, and reassess
procedures and
practices required for registration. Consulting days are designed to
compliment the preparation and planning efforts with hands-on expertise.

All of our consultants are ISO9000 Lead Assessor Certified, have
experience in implementing and managing quality management systems,
and will have been involved with internal audits, ISO9000
pre-assessments, and final ISO9000 registration audits. Consulting days
are used only at your company's request, and are based on mutually
agreed upon terms.

Phase III: Complete implementation of the standard's
requirements, create evidence of effective implementation, and
conduct an internal audit

At this point, we are ready to complete the implementation of the
requirements of the ISO 9000 Standard. Once all of the requirements
have been implemented, evidence of their effectiveness needs to be
gathered and preparation for the final audit needs to begin. The
standards require your company to conduct a compliance audit using
internal auditors.

In order to complete Phase III, we will continue use of consulting days,
and conduct an Internal Audit, which will result in a final "to do List".

Phase IV: Final Phase

This phase of preparing for your registration audit consists primarily of
putting the final pieces in place, conducting Pre-Assessment Audit and
conducting the final Registration Audit. We would like to be present at
both of these audits to assure they run smoothly, provide guidance on
any follow-up activities, and to congratulate the organization on
successfully becoming ISO9000 registered.
